Hello, could you please tell me if I personalise the item with engraving, does the text appear on the charm black like the image?

At Argento, we engrave using a high powered fibre laser created by jewellery specialists. This produces the deepest and most accurate effect and clarity on even the smallest of pieces. Please be aware that when we engrave rose gold or any metal, the laser peels away the layers of that material, leaving the image or words in place. The colour will not change to be anything other than the original colour of the metal which you are engraving. Also, depending on the product you choose, the more letters you engrave, will impact the size of the lettering and therefore how it will look visually.

Hello Lisa and thank you for your question regarding the Nomination Rose Gold Engravable Double Plate Charm.
After you select "add text", your text will appear over the charm. When you move your cursor down to that, an image of a hand will appear over the charm. If you then click on it and hold your mouse button down, that enable you to be able to move your text about. We have just tested it and can confirm that it's working fine. Possibly you are using a mobile device? There is a free text box during the ordering process where you can leave specific instructions regarding your order and these will get picked up by the engraving team.

I have just tried to add text to this product and it has allowed me to add up to 20 characters including spaces. Have you clicked the button "Engrave this Item for £5.95" which is to the right of the product image?
This should bring you the the next stage of the process allowing you to add text.

It’s Free”, which takes you to the next page, where you can add what you want engraved and tell us when font you want it in. You can also leave any specific instructions for the engraving team in the free text box, at the bottom of the same page.

We can confirm that we can engrave love hearts and also interlinking hearts. Please ensure you click on the words to the right of the image on the product page which state, “Add Engraving? It’s Free”, which takes you to the next page, where you can add what you want engraved and tell us when font you want it in. When you see what you want engraved appear in the box to the right, click on that and the font option will appear. You can also leave any specific instructions for the engraving team in the free text box, at the bottom of the same page, for example, that you would like a heart engraved. You will also need to tick the box next to “I agree to the terms and conditions” to proceed with any engraving order.

We can confirm that we can engrave a signature by following the below points.
•Write your message on plain white paper with a black pen (no lined paper)
•Take a photo of your message from above. Please ensure there are no shadows, the handwriting is clear, and the full message fits in the image.
•Upload your image to the add engraving section of your chosen product. We only accept jpeg, gif and png.
